Kitesurfing is my driving obsession and love it with a passion.
Ever since I was little I have been attracted water sports following my dad's footsteps. At a very young age I was sailing with family and when I was only 7 years old I learnt to windsurf this introduced me into the wonders of water sports. When I was 10 I picked up wakeboarding and waterskiing naturally. Then in the year of 2008 my dad came home with a 3 meter Airush trainer kite, at that moment I was hooked. That same year I went to Hangtime kite school and learnt how to set up the equipment and how to fly the kites. That same month my dad got two Airush vapor 1's a 7, 10 and 12 meter, that month I was on the internet everyday looking and waiting for wind so I could get out and learn to ride! The wind soon came, a friend of my dad's Dave Dutes Kitesurfed and let me use his board I was riding within half an hour. A few months later I was teaching myself how to jump and to expand my tricks.In the summer of 2010 on the follow the wind tour I got some wakeboard boots to try them out! I loved them from the second I got on the water, You have so much more control of your pop and how and where you move the board to make everything look as smooth as possible. I have a passion for pushing the wakestyle kind of riding which is becoming a lot more popular but I want to make it as popular as competing in the BKSA!
My aim is to become the best kiter I can be, push the sport and try and make every trick my own and unique to my riding!
